Mel has pursued art for several years receiving a Bachelor of Studio Arts from Georgia Southern. Her passions have been with character design and character development for 10 years and counting. Her preferred medium is Digital Media utilizing a Wacom One tablet, Paint Tool SAI, and Photoshop CS5.

People are often told these days that art is something specific. For one to be told that art must be one distinct thing or another is the equivalent of a lack of understanding of human imagination. Art is what we make it. It is who we are as creative beings called humans. If I had to explain to each individual what art was and what it was capable of, it would lose its' meaning.

We find it, we grasp it, we mold it.
